Next Churchyard working party: Saturday 15th July 2023
We will be tidying the area around the cremated remains in the Knutsford Road Churchyard on Saturday 15th July from 9.30 am until 11 am.
We look forward to welcoming back all our regular helpers and any new volunteers too. Our task is to weed and trim around the memorial stones of the cremated remains which cannot easily be done by our contractors, Clive Nash, who look after the bulk of the churchyard.
No gardening experience is needed, but please bring hand shears, weeding tools and perhaps something to kneel on! Rubbish sacks will be provided.
Our work in the Churchyard contributes to the Eco Church initiative which is being led by Charlotte Webb and demonstrates how we care for God’s earth through our church life.
