19 Mar: Mothering Sunday – 10.30am special Family service
2 Apr: Palm Sunday – 9.30 – 10.30 Coffee & Croissants in the Church Hall
organised by the Social Committee for those attending the 9am service and those joining the 10.30am short family service with Missy the donkey
follow Missy to the Methodist Church for a Palm Sunday style procession and then join with our Methodist friends for coffee/tea in their church hall
7 Apr: Good Friday – special services in church at 10.30am and 2pm
assembling with Christians from other Churches at 12 noon in the Church Hall for Hot-cross Buns and at 12.30 pm for the village Walk of Witness
9 Apr: Easter Sunday – Holy Communion service at 9am and Family Service at 10.30am
15 Apr: Saturday morning – 9.30-11am Knutsford Road Churchyard tidy-up
help needed for the Spring working party to tidy the memorials area for cremated remains – see Notice for more information
22 – 23 Apr: Music Weekend at St Luke’s – “fit for a King”
Saturday 22nd, 7.30pm in church:
Variety Concert, with performances by the Slipper Band, Community Choir and various soloists – tickets £5
Sunday 23rd, at the 9am and 10.30 services in church:
Songs of Praise accompanied by the Allcomers Choir
Sunday 23rd, 2.30pm in the Church Hall:
Afternoon Tea with musical entertainment – tickets £8
