The Church Annual Meetings for St Luke’s Holmes Chapel will be held on Sunday 9th May 2021, starting from 11am and preceded by a short service of Morning Worship at 10.30am.
These short but important meetings will again be held using Zoom telecommunications because of restrictions on in person meetings.
Anyone with an interest in St Luke’s Church, its activities and Christian mission is invited to attend.
We are very pleased to announce that limited services of communal worship have restarted at St Luke’s Holmes Chapel. There is now a restricted service of Holy Communion at 9.00am on Sundays and at 10.30am on Wednesdays, subject to the usual COVID-19 conditions of social distancing, wearing face covering etc.
The advertised 2021 revision for additions and other changes to be made to the Church Electoral Roll was completed on Sunday 18th April. There are now 214 individuals on the revised Electoral Roll . Their names are listed on the noticeboard in the church porch and on the website for checking.
Can you spare an hour or so on Saturday morning 22nd May between 9.30 to 11am to help tidy the memorials for cremated remains the churchyard?
Safeguarding: Past Cases Review 2 (PCR2)
In 2007, the Church of England commissioned a national Past Case Review which sought to look at the handling by the Church of child protection case over many years. All parishes nationally are required to respond by checking records and reporting to the review all known cases of concern about the behaviour of clergy and church officers towards children and vulnerable adults.
