New Church Council (PCC) Appointments for 2026-27

On Monday 18th May, at the first meeting of the Church Council (PCC) after the Annual Parish Meetings, we were pleased to reappoint Trevor Jenkins as our Treasurer, Steve Smith as our Secretary and Electoral Roll Officer, Janet Chettle as our Safeguarding Lead, and Charlotte Webb as our Health & Safety Officer.

Other Church Officers reappointed include Wendy Macdonald as Director of Music, Jayne Weaver as Parish Giving Officer and Hall Booking Co-ordinator, and Geoff Bond  as Verger.

Charlotte Flower and Debs Hinson continue to lead Genesis; and Rachel Copley, Rob McLaren and Steve Waltho lead Exodus.

Geoff Bond, Lise Hopwood, Mark Hopwood, Glen Jackson, Pat Pye and Charlotte Webb were also appointed as Assistant Wardens to help Janet deliver her role as Churchwarden in the coming year.

The following people were appointed as Sidespersons for the coming year:

Michelle Carter, Linda and Stuart Gammon, Lise and Mark Hopwood, Karen Horton, Glen and Sandra Jackson, Trevor Jenkins, John Land, Alan and Anne Lane, John Oram, Jean Paton and Rod Pickles.
