Letter to parents of Genesis children: Saturday 21st March, 2020
Good morning everyone
As you will be more than aware, because of the public health restrictions, Church services and Genesis are now suspended until further notice. The church building itself will remain open for individual quiet prayer and reflection on weekday mornings until about 12 noon. Further updates about the restrictions and how the Church plans to adapt during the virus epidemic can be accessed via the church website.
I am going to Church this morning to put out the basket with all the Mothering Sunday flower cards we made. If would like to collect some of these to distribute to those in isolation or the vulnerable that would be lovely. These should of course be posted through doors and not handed to someone so physical contact is avoided.
For those of you affected by illness, whether personally or through family and friends we pray for a speedy recovery and hope you stay positive and safe. For those of you struggling in any way, with limited support around you, please stay in touch and we can offer a network of support.
Let’s now continue to pray for a rapid solution and brighter outcome in the coming weeks and months.
As it says in Philippians 4 verses 12-13:
‘I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.’
