Autumn 2022 Update

Dear Parents
Welcome back to Genesis after the summer break. We hope you have all enjoyed some time away from the usual routines and deadlines and are feeling refreshed.
Just to remind you, Genesis starts at 10am in the Church Hall and continues until 10.45am. We will then join mid-way through the Church service in time to share our learning with the congregation, for prayers, a short sermon and for singing.
The service will finish by 11.15am so we may all leave together and enjoy fellowship over a drink and biscuit back in the recently decorated Church Hall.
Holy communion will now be offered at the 4th Sunday in the month but at every 9am Sunday service. Family services are usually on the 3rd Sunday of each month, but this will be subject to change when special festivals like harvest and Remembrance occur so, please refer to the dates below.
As usual the Autumn term for us at Genesis is one of our busiest and this year will be no exception. Activities will include harvest, Operation Christmas Child, Remembrance, Christingle, and our nativity. Most of our teaching up to Christmas will focus on the Lord’s Prayer.
Now that we can be back together let’s make the most of the opportunities we have to share, worship, and grow together. A great year ahead where we can ‘Come to Christ, Love to Learn and Learn to Love.’
