Genesis – April 2022: letter to parents

download for printing

Dear Parents,

As we approach the end of Lent and the glory of Easter, we thought it would be a useful time to update you on a few changes to Genesis post Easter.

Genesis will now start at the slightly later time of 10am where learning and activities will take place in the Church Hall until 10.45am. Genesis will then join mid-way through the Church service in time to share our learning with the congregation, for prayers, a short sermon and for singing. The service will finish by 11.15am so we may all leave together and enjoy fellowship over a drink and biscuit back in the Church Hall.

Holy communion or a blessing at the altar rail, will continue to be offered once a month at the 10.30am service but at every 9am Sunday service.

Family worship will take place on at least one Sunday per month and our last family worship for Mothering Sunday was wonderful as the children from Genesis really enjoyed participating at different points during the service and led the prayers beautifully.

Please see below the dates for Genesis until the end of the school year.

Let us now continue to make the most of the opportunities we have to share, worship, and grow together.
