St Luke’s Craft Group

Our new craft group is now underway!  We meet on Tuesday evenings (term time) in the Massey Room of St Luke’s Church Hall, from 7.15pm until 9.15pm.  The cost is £2.00 per session, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Home Fellowship group

Our ‘Home Fellowship’ group started in May at the home of Jono and Sian Wylie. The group generally meets fortnightly at the Wylies on Sundays from 4-6 pm and enjoys an informal Bible time, some prayers and a home cooked meal. All ages are welcome.

Christian Aid Lent 2024 – a big Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who supported us at the four Lent lunches and Music Recitals that we ran in March at St Luke’s Church Hall.

We raised the magnificent net sum of £1,263 which will be sent to Christian Aid to help the needy around the world. This sum includes £461 given as donations for the musical recitals held in St Luke’s Church after the Lent lunches and special thanks must go to Wendy Macdonald for kindly organising these events.

Brinnington update June 2023

For some time now, we have been able to deliver your donations to the Brinnington Parish Centre.

They hold two Drop In sales with stalls each week but there is no storage area and so stock must be sold before any new delivery may be accepted.

However, we generally go with gifts from Holmes Chapel about once a fortnight.

Contactless Giving at St Luke’s

Contactless Giving at St Luke’s

Most donations to St Luke’s come from our regular church members through our Planned Giving Scheme by envelope or standing order. Regular giving is particularly helpful for budgeting purposes and if this is how you give to St Luke’s, please continue to donate in this way. However, our first contactless giving device is now installed at the back of the church allowing anyone to give by card etc. rather than by cash.
