August 2021 services

During the installation of our newly refurbished organ and console, St Luke’s church will be closed for general access from Friday 6th August to Friday 27th August.  Scaffolding will be in place and the regular services usually held in church will be transferred to the Church Hall.

Gill Brickwood is holding afternoon tea in her beautiful Brereton garden from 2-4pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August to raise funds for St Luke’s Church Organ and Lighting Appeal and for the Alzheimer’s Society.

A tasty selection of savouries, sandwiches and cakes will be served between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August at Gill’s house in Brereton..

2021 Church Electoral Roll Revision

The advertised 2021 revision for additions and other changes to be made to the Church Electoral Roll was completed on Sunday 18th April. There are now 214 individuals on the revised Electoral Roll .

Restricted services in church resumed at St Luke’s

We are very pleased to announce that limited services of communal worship have restarted at St Luke’s Holmes Chapel. There is now a restricted service of Holy Communion at 9.00am on Sundays and at 10.30am on Wednesdays, subject to the usual COVID-19 conditions of social distancing, wearing face covering etc.
