Supporting St Luke’s Church and its Christian mission
At St Luke’s in Holmes Chapel, we are dedicated to serving Christ in our local community. Our Christian ministry is only made possible through the support of church members giving generously of their time, skills and money.
As Christians, we give as a sign of our love for God and in response to his love and generosity to us. We do not receive any financial support from central Church of England sources.
Regular giving helps us to plan our mission and ministry, and special appeals help us to supplement special projects in time of need. There are various ways to give, so you can choose the one that suits you best.
Planned Giving by Standing Order
Regular giving within our Planned Giving scheme is particularly helpful for our budgeting purposes.
If you would like to give by Standing Order, please contact our Planned Giving Officer, Jayne Weaver (warden@stlkhc.uk) or our Treasurer, Trevor Jenkins (treasurer@stlkhc.uk).
Gift Aiding
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by 25% with Gift Aid. This means that for every £1 you donate, we can claim an extra 25p from the Government at no cost to you.
To make a Gift Aid donation, please download the Gift Aid declaration form here.
Once you have completed it, please then return it to Jayne or Trevor in church.
Other ways of giving
We also provide other ways to give, including:
- Card reader at the back of the church
- White envelopes in pews for one-off Gift Aided donations
- QR cards in pews for cashless online giving with an opportunity to Gift Aid
“Give a Little” on-line account
